Here are a few of our customer comments, some regarding other programs and some regarding WinPed. Editorial remarks are in brackets.   Names of other programs are simply referred to as '.....'.

• "I just bought '.....' software package, ............. . It's not a bad program but the way you have to enter information is pretty confusing if you are not paying attention. .............. . Entering a Pedigree is a [!@#$%]. Your Pedigree program [WinPed] is much better. [Thanks] .................. .  They do put restrictions on you in some areas like ............ they want a certain size image and it has to be a Bitmap image. Great, all mine are either jpg or pcx files, so now I have to convert and resize them all. [WinPed 8.1 (or higher)  loads and displays .bmp, .jpg, .ico, .gif, .wmf, .emf, and .rle images, of any size, and automatically scales them at print time] . I also have found that there are several areas in the program where you need to enter information in various fields, but I'm having trouble trying to figure out just what the heck they want me to enter. I still haven't found out where I am supposed to enter my Kennel Name. ................. . I had also looked at '.....' and had tried their Demo.  It was OK, but not what I was looking for.", R. • "Hi, at this time I have '.....' and '.....'.  Both of them cut off the name of my dogs. I like to put all their titles when they have them and it is so annoying to have the name of the dog chopped off. Therefore I dislike both of those programs. My question to you is does your program cut the name off also?? [No, WinPed does not cut off the names, there is plenty of space for long names with lots of titles] I want the whole name, titles and all, on 1 line, the OFA could be on a second line if it had to be, but everything else needs to fit on 1 line .............. do you think your program would allow a long name like: .........., titles and all? [Yes] If it does I'm buying it if not I don't want it. If I get it and it doesn't I'm sending it right back, just to be honest with you from the start. [SOLD!]", A. S. , Florida.
